Welcome
In the last 3 years, only 19 of the 238 Canadian girls who landed NCAA scholarships were from British Columbia. Our 20+ years of combined NCAA experience tell us this number is inconsistent with the caliber of players we’ve observed in this province

Asking NCAA Coaches why this is the case they identified the lack of a first-class recruiting event in this region of the country. Through this event we are determined to showcase high-caliber BC girl soccer players and have the numbers of girls on scholarship in the States reflect the talent we feel exists in this area of the country. From talking to our contacts in Alberta, they too feel that Alberta players could benefit from a Showcase of this magnitude.

In addition, coaches that we are familiar with put seeing a player play live as one of the most important things in deciding whether or not it is a player that can help their program. This causes players to have to fly many miles in order to attend one of these Showcase tournaments in the US. For a Western Canadian family, the cost of attending one of these tournaments (not including an accompanying parent) is often in the thousands of dollars range, after tournament fees, flights, and accommodation is paid for. Furthermore, many girls aren’t on teams that travel to the US, nor do parents have the thousands of dollars necessary to attend US recruiting tournaments.

For this reason, we want to bring the NCAA coaches to the girls for a fraction of what it would otherwise cost to get this kind of exposure, and allow them to see the talent that exists up here that we see as hidden gems as many of these players would otherwise not be seen. Our hope is to give all the girls who come to try out the opportunity and tools to know what it takes to reach the NCAA Level, and make it be a decision that the girls make for themselves if they are willing to put the work in on and off the field to earn themselves the opportunity to go to the US.

January 3/4 Dates for College Prep One Day Cancelled

Registration Now Closed
Registration is now closed and we are extremely excited with the calibre of both teams and individual players that we have coming from across Western Canada and even England, in our first year of running this event.

Teams in the Grade 9-10 Age Group include 2 of the top local Vancouver area based teams, CMFSA U16 Silence and Semiahmoo U16 Nitro both of whom have many Super Y, Provincial Team and NTC players and other extremely talented players in addition to other top local players that have been invited to guest play for the weekend.

The Southwest United Tier 1 team, one of the top teams in the Edmonton region makes up the third team in the group.

Subsequently 2 all-star teams made up from players around BC and Alberta which include Provincial Team players from both regions make up the last 2 spots in what looks to be a very competitive age group.

The grade 11-12 group will also be made up of 5 teams and includes both the top academy team from England, Bristol Academy, the reigning U16 Canadian National Champions from Calgary, the Foothill Colts '91, as well as a team made up of the Vancouver Island regions top players, and 2 all-star teams made up of players from all around BC again which includes Provincial, Super Y and other top players.

We are very excited for the calibre and commitment to excellence of the girls who will be attending.

Coaching staffs of the All-Star teams will be made up of local professional coaches and some of our girlsCAN staff, all of whom have played at coached at the university level, including the NCAA.
